It is important to have a post miscarriage check up with your doctor and possibly find any contributing factors such as an ASCUS from a pap smear that would result in cryotherapy. Most women who miscarry do so only once. Their risk for miscarrying again is not increased and is the same as that of a normal woman’s - about 15 percent. Women who are over thirty-five are more liable to miscarry. Most miscarriages start with vaginal bleeding which is initially slight and painless.
